An experiment to see whether a person in a space suit can imitate the falling movements of a cat, to find out how astronauts can move in space. The experiment was conducted by Professor Thomas R. Kane in 1968 using a trampoline, a cat, and a trampolinist in a spacesuit.

So I went to visit my little kitten, Loki, today and I somehow managed to walk away having reserved his sister too! Note to self: I SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED NEAR AVAILABLE KITTENS!

As the Stars Turn
Photograph by Kwon O Chul, TWAN
Star trails create arches over the horizon in a long-exposure picture of the night sky taken from Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The equatorial region is the only place on the Earth that the celestial poles are located right at the horizon. TWAN photographer Kwon O Chul was very close to the equator on high altitude slopes of Mount Kimilmanjaro in Tanzania when shooting this image. Kilimanjaro is an inactive volcano and the highest mountain in Africa.
